For me this means that Bon Jovi's peak is also 20 years ago...

An album that I didn't discover until one year into my fan-being (around late '06) and that not only changed my love and attitude towards music, but also spoke to me like no other and helped me through one of the darkest periods of my life!

I was an oblivious 6-year-old! But I probably wouldn't have appreciated These Days if I'd heard it back then... As a young adult, it pulled me through some really rough times. And that's why I still love Bon Jovi, even when they do things that make me want to rip my hair out, lol.

Wow I didn't even realise it was coming up to 20 years, incredible. I still listen to it frequently and it contains one of my favourite lyrics "Broken hearts can't call the cops, Yeah - it's a perfect crime" I saw them busking to promote the album on London's South Bank then a few days later saw them at a packed Wembley Stadium where there was 70,000 people, steam rising from the stage and a very excited band playing. Bon Jovi in the UK have never been bigger or better. Happy Anniversary These Days, you still sound amazing.

I'v been since 2005 or so (10 years, eehh damn) into the mood 'Bon Jovi sucks nowadays'. And although I didn't forget their best period, I kinda took it for granted and didn't actually listen to it beside some random songs on a random shuffle playlist.
This topic made me listen to These Days back to back for first time in a decade or so. And yeah I knew it was Bon Jovi best and my personal best (as I was 16-20 when These Days was MY album) but WOW damn it's terrific. I kinda forgot about that. And yes I made my personal tracklist to make it even better (Someday I'll be Saturday night should've been on TD instead of CR). And hell yeah it can't get better than this. These Days... damn.

Regrettably, i was already 26 by the time These Days came out and already an ultra-veteran fan :-) i was living in London at the time and i remember having the cd player stuck on that ONE disc for months on end. Every morning i would take my train from Lewisham with Hey God in the background and arrive at work in Mayfair on the last notes of Bitter Wine.... what a great great piece of music.....

1995... I was in the army for most of the year. But I kinda rediscovered the band with this album after losing interest a little bit after KTF. In 1996 I met a girl who was to become my wife and this was "our" album we both loved and still do. Lot's of memories tied to this one...
