Production aside, I'm actually enjoying these 2 songs in my shuffle. Not what I'm looking for in a new album but not bad as bonus tracks either. I'm actually enjoying both and after 30 years, I'll take it.

I guess I could accept Reunion if it wasn't for that line with "love your life". Also can't stand the turn of the melody there.
Beautiful Day is just a piece of crap to me, but since he didn't write that one I have no problem overlooking it.
After 30 years (and moreover after WAN), I'd need a little more to keep me on track with their output.

They are not bad... but I don't see anything special in them.
I would prefer an album with songs like the b-side Into the Echo, or Amen than those two.

I don't really see Beautiful Day as any indication of where Bon Jovi might be going because Jon didn't write it.
That being said I like both songs. I listened to Reunion a few times and Beautiful Day a couple of times, but that's it. That's not indicative of my opinion of the song quality though. I'm not really listening to much of anything lately because noise of any kind is quite bothersome to me.

I only listened to Reunion. It's okay but nothing special. I don't think it's good enough to be a track on an album. I didn't bother with Beautiful Day, because he didn't write it.

That's the problem - my feelings about Reunion are the same. Jon wrote for this graduation thing and therefore it's ok. But allegedly he stated at a solo show that it was going to be on the new album.

There were these solo shows shortly after that graduation (on May 23rd and 24th) and on a German board fans (that had attended this event) stated that Jon introduced Reunion as "something from the upcoming album".

Honestly, I wouldn't hate it if Reunion ended up as a bonus track. Some percussion/maracas from Tico, backing vocals and accordion from Dave would flesh the song out enough to satisfy me. But for all that is holy, KEEP BEAUTIFUL DAY AWAY FROM THE NEW ALBUM!

I have a feeling that Reunion with follow a similar path as to how WAN included raw simple studio takes of The Fighter and Not Running. Now why would Jon include a song he didn't write on his new album is beyond me. Unless he did actually co-write it? But if he's at least 25 song deep, this could even be a double album. Disc one rocks, Disc two acoustic...I'm obviously going out on a limb but you never know. I'm expecting something big and different. Not to be confused with "great" but maybe a little something outside the norm. Why not a double album. If it's priced right, the die-hards will be the only ones buying it anyway so why not get credit for 2 for each unit sold.

Not blown away by either track but I enjoyed them. Probably Reunion more so. Beautiful Day sounds better without the words, haha.

Honestly I don't care for either of them. Don't hate them - just meh. I think I would like anything with better production.
